March 1, 2009----An open letter to all Senior (18+) Soccer Players. We are now taking registrations for the 2009 season of the Ajax Adult Recreational Soccer Club. Our league consists of 2 divisions, most likely of either 8 or 10 teams of 16 players depending upon registrations.

Our Club is divided by age; a junior division for those 35 and below, and a senior division for those 35 and over (and we have a few players into their 60’s!!!). Our games are quite competitive but with the Recreational Soccer Club goal of playing some good soccer, getting exercise, minimizing injuries (most of us still have to work !) through fair play, and going out for some beers/coffee after the game with the lads.

Registration is $200 per player and the season begins mid - May (depending on the weather)

thru the weekend before Thanksgiving. One game a week, at either 7pm or 9pm, on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, split relatively equally between times and nights. Games are on floodlit good to very good quality fields in either South Ajax or Whitby.

New players to the league should register in person at the Ajax Community Centre on Saturday March 21st between 10am and 3pm or Saturday March 28 between 1pm and 5pm; returning players may drop off their forms at “The Soccer Connection” in Ajax in the GO train plaza or mail to the league address above.

Registration deadline is March 31, 2009; there may be openings after this date, and we will be maintaining a waiting list/injured reserve list this year and adding players as needed so that all teams will have 16 eligible players entering the Cup/Playoffs in late August/September.
